Even at the first Classic in 1979, the founders realized you can't hold an event in New Orleans without music, food and drink. Most of our participants see the concert, food and beverages as their reward for three months of training. Over the years, the Classic Festival has featured Grammy Winners, up and comers and most of the most notable names in New Orleans music.

As always, New Orleans pre-eminent Easter Weekend show will take place at the region's pre-eminent health and fitness event, the Crescent City Classic. We look forward to announcing the bands performing at this year's event in early February.

The awards for top finishers are given during the Festival. This year, in addition to our regular awards, there will be a 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise for 2 given to the top male and female finishers from Louisiana. Norwegian Cruise Line has generously provided these cruises, which will depart from New Orleans on the Norwegian Sun.

Entry to the Festival is free for Classic participants, $5 for others and free for children under 12 years of age.
