		The CRESCENT CITY CLASSIC, JUNIOR Saturday, TBA, 2008 @ 9:00 AM *The date & venue for the Crescent City Classic, Junior is not finalized.* We are working to providing additional excitement to a morning that will feature Food! Fun! Entertainment! and Prizes! to those ages 5 to 12. Race distances will vary from 1/4 mile for the youngest entrants to a 1.5 mile course for the oldest aged entrants. Click here to register your youngster! The events on race day encourage participation. Entrants will be given Crescent City Classic race numbers that will place them in the following age groups. Each group will run or walk on a designated course. Youngsters age 5 & 6 will participate on a .25 Mile course. Youngsters age 7 & 8 will participate on a .50 Mile course. Youngsters age 9 & 10 will participate on a 1.0 Mile course. Youngsters age 11 & 12 will participate on a 1.5 Mile course. After the race, all participants will receive Finisher Ribbons. Of course, some youngsters will try harder than others to be first, but that will only give them bragging rights.
