The Crescent City Classic is proud to announce the Inaugural Corporate Classic in partnership with the YMCA of Greater New Orleans!
The Crescent City Classic and the YMCA of Greater New Orleans are teaming up for a brand new, exciting combination of the CCC Fall Classic and the YMCA Corporate Cup!
The newly combined 3.1- mile race will premier as an in-person event on Saturday, November 13 in City Park and will benefit the YMCA Educational Services (YES!) Adult Literacy Program.
The Corporate Classic will serve two purposes:
1. Encourage company camaraderie by hosting teams of four from organizations all over the Greater New Orleans area.
2. Serve as the only 5k qualifier for the Crescent City Classic 10k.
"The YMCA of Greater New Orleans and the Crescent City Classic are two well-known and trusted non-profit organizations in New Orleans. It seemed like a natural fit to join our two long-time races, the Corporate Cup and the Fall Classic, to provide an even better experience for our participants and supporters. It’s even more exciting that the Corporate Classic will be the first in-person race that either of our organizations have had since before the pandemic. It will be a celebration!” –Gordon R. Wadge, President & CEO YMCA of Greateer New Orleans.
The 3.1-mile course begins on Golf Drive, continues onto Friedrichs Ave., passing by the new Festival Grounds and Christian Brothers School before bearing a right onto Wisner Blvd. Runners pass by the front of the park on Wisner to City Park Ave., where they continue, re-entering the park at Anseman Ave. Runners take a right onto Dreyfous, passing by the Great Lawn, City Putt and Morning Call, to Lelong Dr., where runners circle the New Orleans Museum of Art and continue down beautiful Roosevelt Mall.
